In 1990, out of a desire to create an accounting firm that provides premier client service and focused attention, Steven Templeton left a large international accounting firm to start Templeton & Company in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. He grew the firm based on his relationships and earned additional work from key clients (all have remained clients of the firm) based on unwavering dedication to quality deliverables. Since then, the firm has grown to 60-plus professionals, moved its headquarters to downtown West Palm Beach and opened an office in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Steve continues to be involved with the firm’s day-to-day operations, and has built a team of professionals dedicated to serve its clients efficiently with the same dedication and vigor on which the firm started more than 30 years ago. The firm consistently ranks among the top accounting firms in South Florida, and is nationally recognized by numerous organizations for its people and quality of service.

Templeton & Company is a member of the private companies section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).  The firm maintains appropriate certifications with the AICPA, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and several State CPA societies. The firm is also an independent member of the BDO Alliance USA.
